Whats been going on here!

I just went through one of the worst winter storms I ever have been through. I finally have my power back at my house after 5 LOOOONG days of cleaning up fallen trees and cutting firewood for warmth. We had freezing rain for about 14 hours and 8 inches of snow on top of it, knocking power out almost all over where we live. So many trees are down it looks worse than when we've been hit by tornadoes. You never realize how much your life revolves around power until you loose it.
I am so thankful its back!

Just getting ready for the upcoming season of holiday chaos! I have been making a lot of pieces for my stock along with many custom pieces for clients. My photography has been really busy, especially for family and children portraits. I feel blessed to be this busy, I know many are struggling from the economy and are not as busy as they usually have been.

I want to tell all who have commented, watched and added my pieces and photos to their favorites THANK YOU VERY MUCH! it is support like this that encourages me to work harder and try to be more creative. The art work and community at this place is so uplifting and it makes me thankful to be a part of it.

Whats been going on here!

I have been having a bit of fun working on the recent Mokume Gane pieces. I have 3 in progress right now another ring a dog tag and a pendant I am working on with silver copper and 24k gold mix. Hopefully they will be done in the next couple of weeks. Have to do the paying customers things first before I play.
I have been fairly busy with photography lately also, something that started as a hobby has turned into a part time job. I am not complaining though I enjoy it a lot.
Thanks for all of the favorites and comments everyone gives to me I really appreciate it.

I haven't been been making any real creative jewelry lately for it is wedding season! I have been busy making wedding band for engagement rings. Hopefully I will get started on some pieces for my stock gearing up for Christmas. I have been busy with my photography though, portraits, weddings ect... Me and my wife did a real fun shoot the other night and I posted some of those photos, they were the Wet series. not much else going on around here other than surviving the summer.
